The
ministry of Michael Bassett came to an end in 1996
as he was struggling for breath during a bout of double
pneumonia. With fluid filled lungs and infected liver,
it was not his earthly life that was his concern, but
his spiritual activities for God that occupied what
little strength he had. Sleeping upright on a sofa,
each night for the next five weeks was to be the same
as he experienced endless night-sweats. One night however,
it was different. Whilst still asleep, his soul called
out to God. Crying and in tears, he repeated over and
over again the sentence, 'I've lost the hope of my
calling'. The Lord without hesitation answered, 'What
calling are you talking about? You never had one, read
Eph 1:17 again. He was shaken by the sharp edge of
the truth, given by the teacher, the Holy Spirit, as
He brought into Michael's mind a particular verse of
scripture, which 25 years earlier he had memorized.
He immediately caught the revelation of Christ being
the ministry gift in him and began to tell the Lord
how sorry he was for being so ignorant.
The next morning Michael awoke to find healing and recovery
in his body. The path forward was a clear one. From that
day forward, the indwelling Christ would have 'His' ministry
of expression through the now cracked vessel. A slight
adjustment was made...but just enough to make all the
difference. Today the same message that Paul preached
is being expressed through Michael and his wife Denise,
as they travel, write, and share the realities of Christ
in the believer, the hope of Glory.
Michael Bassett is recognized Internationally as a latter day
window, ushering in the freshness of the Grace of God.
Countless people, from all walks of life all over the
world, have discovered through this ministry a deeper
understanding of the reality of the indwelling ascended
Christ. Multitudes of testimonies conclude to the fact
that Christ expresses Himself through Michael to meet
the soulical and physical needs of His body. The apostolic
anointing working through Michael became increasingly
more evident over the years, until finally in 1994
after thirteen years in the pastoral office, the Lord
released him to minister to the church at large. His
previous experience, as the senior pastor of a thousand-member
church in London, England, enables him to love and
flow with all races, and cultural backgrounds. This
insight puts him in demand as an International speaker
at conferences and churches as far afield as Africa,
Asia and Europe.
CHURCH
LIFE
 In
August 2006 Michael Bassett took over the Pastorship
of the Victory Church which he was released from
by the Lord exactly 12 years earlier. The original
Victory Church, he and his wife Denise founded
and pastored in 1982 was located in Hampstead London,
now it is situated on
the 12th floor of Hannibal House in the Elephant &
Castle shopping centre. Pastor Michael is once
again being used of the Lord to build up the
saints by ministering the food designed especially
for the New Creation, the Church of the One Body.
The revelation truths which where given to the
Apostle Paul, contained in his prison epistles,
are central to the teaching and preaching of
Pastor Michael as he promotes Christ and Him
crucified. His grace filled sermons and inspirational
messages are once again to be heard from the
Victory pulpit to lead the hungry and searching
souls to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their
only life.
RADIO & TELEVISION MINISTRY
 Michael
has produced a radio, question and answer program, called
StayFree - aired on UCB Talk Radio Network and recently
has produced 12 teaching programs which were shown on
Reveation TV. StayFree.TV is
now being shown on 24/7 IPTV - watch
it now- also on 'Believe Channel' at 5pm every Friday on the Sky Network.
MINISTRY TO ASSIST THE MINISTERS OF JESUS CHRIST
 The
Fellowship of World Christians understands how necessary
it is to have ministers preaching the Christ-Life message.
For this purpose FOWC exists
and provides a ministerial framework where leaders in
the Body of Christ can exchange their ideas and resources
with on another. Under his teaching, the Word comes alive
as Christ is seen in all aspects of our walk with its
struggles, temptations and victories.

TRAVELLING MINISTRY
Multitudes of testimonies conclude
the fact that Christ expresses Himself through Michael
to meet the physical needs of His Body. His style of
ministry is not off-putting by being overtly 'showy' in
presentation, whereby many could be turned off from receiving
from the Lord. The manifestations of the gifts of healing
are in the majority, instantly observed.
WORKSHOPS
 Michael
has developed a series of workshops which will mainly
focus on the 'Mystery Gospel' truths of Paul the Apostle.
These workshops are taught personally by Michael as an
extension of the Hampstead
Bible College. His thirteen years as Principle of
the Hampstead Bible School in London,
where literally hundreds of students have been represented
from more than forty-two nations, has demanded the accurate
dividing of the Word.

Directory. This is an important part of his ministry
which Michael sees as a valuable tool to enable Christians
globally to become aware of the multitude of ministries
